Just one Block - Double Diamond Quilt

Double Diamond lap quilt with Sashing - Join us in this one-day workshop to learn how to make this fabulous quilt and see how quickly it grows, a great design to display large prints.  We have selected two different colour sashing fabrics to complement the design.  We used long quarters to maximise the use of fabric.

A future class will be offered to show you how to quilt using your specialized embroidery machine with the new magnetic hoop.  The quilt can be completed using  a 5" x 7" hoop or larger.  It is not essential to purchase the magnetic hoop.  This additional workshop is optional and dates will be provided once your patchwork top is complete.  The embroidery pattern is a unique pattern designed by the tutor to fit the diamond.

Alternatively you can quilt to finish on your domestic sewing machine.

The quilt measures 42” x 52”

On this one day class you will learn

• How to cut bias accurate pieces
• How to stitch perfect 1/4" seams
• Build the quilt on point
• add sashing  

This workshop will be held in the studio in Mytholmroyd 

The class is 10am - 2pm but you are welcome to stay in the studio until we close at 4pm
