Join us on this six-monthly course to learn more about the applique technique and some patchwork piecing. Each month you will discover a new skill on a new block to make this lap size quilt. Option to make a Quillow - The quilt folds into a pillow it also has a handy pocket to snuggle your feet into whilst watching TV. The farmhouse quilt would make a great present, perhaps a gift to keep in the car?

Each months live demonstration is supported with a full pdf of instructions, which will be emailed to you seven days before the class once payment is received. Keep for reference or print and bring along on the day to make your own notes
Share your passion with like-minded people, learn and be inspired by Susan & recreate this charming Farmhouse quilt using various traditional techniques with a slightly modern twist. Join us in this monthly four-hour workshop. All skill levels are welcome.
Suitable for beginners or intermediate students
The course runs for 6 months.
The quilt is made up of 6 different blocks learning new techniques each month. The cost is £45 every month and is due before each class. The following dates will be sent out to you after booking. Any templates required will be available on the day a requirement list will be emailed to you if you prefer to choose your fabrics in advance. Fabrics are not included but we can help you with your selection.
In this workshop you will learn
- Raw edge and turned applique
- Foundation paper piecing
- Corner spiked Dresden plate block
- Machine stitched piecing
- Drawing out and using templates to get perfect blocks.
- A large 21" patchwork pieced backing for the cushion
- Joining the blocks together to fold neatly to a cushion
