Weaving clasped weft table mats

The clasped weft technique provides lots of scope to explore both colour and geometric shape and is a technique often used in tapestry weaving.

In this introductory workshop you will be expertly tutored by Central Saint Martins trained weaver Anne Crowther using Ashford looms, which are ideal for beginners and new weavers.

During the day you will be guided step by step and dress your loom with a warp, select your colour palette, design and weave a collection of mug rug / coasters /small table mats.

You will take home a fabulously unique collection of around 4 mats.

All yarns and equipment provided.
