Join us in this one-day workshop to learn how to make this fabulous Bargello quilt.   

A Bargello quil is a type of quilt that features that striking visual pattern created using a series of fabric strips arranged in a way that produces a flowing, wave-like or flame design.  The pattern relies on precise cutting and sewing to achieve the clean flowing lines. The result is a dynamic and vibrant quilt that can range from simple, two colour patterns to more complex, multi coloured ones, depending on the number of fabric shades and design complexitiy.

Use fabric from your stash with an accent & background colour.

This quilt is made from panels each measuring 33" x 30"  so you can increase the size of the quilt by repeating the number of panels.

On this one day class you will learn

• How to cut accurate strips
• How to stitch perfect 1/4" seams
• Perfect stitching nesting the seams
• Organise colours to add dramatic effect.
• Manipulate placement of the fabrics
• Working out the repeat sequence.

This workshop will be held in the studio in Mytholmroyd 

The class is 10am - 3pm
