Join us to make this interesting hexie Bee Table Mat.

In this two monthly workshop, participants will explore the art of creating a hexagon design bee themed table mat, combining geometric elegance with a playful nature motif. Hexie patterns, inspired by the natural structure of honeycombs, will serve as the founation of your design.  You will learn how to stitch each of the four blocks, joined together with the quilt as you go method to form an eye catching table mat, while incorporating bee themed accents and colours.  These hands on workshops are perfect for beginners or for the seasoned crafters who enjoying creating something quirky and unique.

Each student will  receive a complete set of templates to help shape the hexagons pieces along with a detailed pdf that includes written and pictorial step-by-step instructions

 Fabrics are not included but we can help you with your selection.

This versatile workshop is available both in our Mythomroyd studio or via zoom, allowing participants to choose their preferred learing environment.  The studio setting offers face to face guidance, while the zoom option provides real-time interaction, ensuring all your questions are answered.  You will have the opportunity to watch a step-by-step demonstration by the tutor. You can choose to sew along on the day or stitch at your own pace with the comprehensive instructions.

The Bee table mat can be made to any size by repeating the blocks the current picture shows the four different designs.

 All skill levels welcome.  

This class is from 10am - 2pm  

Suitable for beginners or intermediate students There will be a new project to follow to continue on your sewing journey.
